Windows 7 on Aspire One

on Thursday, February 05, 2009

Aspire One, AOA150, yes, that's my netbook. I just clean install it Windows 7 from USB, it's quicker than DVD. Oh it run nice so far, stable, no crash. Just some bug of the beta, like UAC with gadgets, etc. I installed it with Khmer unicode, everythings work fine and beautifully too.

But I just heard that there are 8 SKUs out there when it available in Q4 this year. No pricing yet. ( will you get most from ultimate?)

I just wish there's a khmer unicode for s60 phone soon (i use nokia5000 in khmer). if touch diamond pro can read and write khmer that would be good, not to mention iPhone!

that google earth 5.0 is nice!

For the new year, i've celebrated twice already! but still there is one more to come. I am talking about khmer new year, Chinese new year and soon to come Khmer New Year. Anyway it's a lot of fun, get gathering, and lots more funs during these holidays.

Oh isn't that more than 6 months from my last post. That is long! yet i frequent visit here, looking back how fare these tech have become. Since Intel486DX machine that i have used it with Windows 3.11 up until now, the upcoming Windows 7 and Intel Core i7. it's lots and long ways. tech have developed for long way to a more beautiful and simple to use. even kiddo!

Now, we have Khmer Unicode that's easier to use, I have a Khmer phone and easy to key in (khmer) too (my Nokia 5000). I really like that khmeros.info. (i even bookmark it)on my netbooks (i have two!);).

Sean Kingtons is coming to Phnom Penh (in next week). i don't know the ticket price yet (just guess: will i spend for it? during these financial tumoil days?)

Err..should i post some pics here? oh don't have one in handy.so may be next time.
